OCTOBER 17
NO KINGS: VOTE EARLY
SAVE THE DATE
Date: Saturday, October 17
What is it?: No Kings: Vote Early
Where: Communities everywhere
To Do What?: Help voters make a plan, vote early where possible and connect with election protection efforts
What’s different?: Smaller, hyper-local actions are being encouraged along larger community gatherings
Can people still protest? Yes! More on that below.
The No Kings website is promoting the fall campaign and a national kickoff call on September 10.
What will official Vote Early events look like?
If early voting is already underway by October 17, communities can organize events that celebrate participation, help people understand their voting options, organize rides or walks together, and connect eligible voters with polling information.
If early voting doesn’t begin until after October 17, the event can focus on telling people when voting begins and helping them make their plan ahead of time for their state. The events can look like:
Neighborhood or park gatherings
Visibility events and sign actions
Walks to early-voting locations
Creative community events
Groups such as running clubs, cyclists, book clubs, knitting circles and other communities participating together
Election-protection recruitment
What if early voting hasn’t started where I live?
You can still participate, voting rules and early-voting calendars vary widely across the country, so October 17 will not look identical everywhere.
Where voting has opened, communities can focus on participation and where it hasn’t.
Election protection is a major part of October 17
The No Kings: Vote Early event is also expected to provide people with an opportunity to connect with election-protection efforts.
That could mean recruiting people for an upcoming No Kings training or partnering with experienced local voting-rights organizations.
The national nonpartisan Election Protection coalition also operates the 866-OUR-VOTE hotline and voter-assistance resources.
Help get the word out

October 17 is organized community by community, the date is the first step to help get the word out: October 17.

We need to shut down the whole country and march on D.C. no more, enough is fricken enough.
I was going to check off the top three options but it didn’t allow it. I’ll be doing everything I can!
